This is my favourite scene ever in Star Wars. So much going on with the characters. You might not have noticed, but your brain did. Quick breakdown for anyone who cares:
- 0:55 Luke finally cops an attitude with Han after being talked down to by him throughout the whole first act
- 1:48 Han reacts instantly and desperately to Luke being dragged underwater. Showing that he is possibly dependent on Luke to get out of this
- 2:06 Han takes orders from Luke
- 2:37 Han realizes he is indeed screwed without Luke's help
- 2:55 Han reprises Luke's line from earlier. I feel this was definitely meant to show the strengthening relationship of the two, before it was turned into a running joke quote.
- 3:53 C-3PO bluffs his way out of trouble to help his friends
- 5:32 Luke loses his temper, proving that he's not as calm and mild-mannered as when he was first introduced
- 6:04 C-3PO actually takes the blame for once, instead of pinning it on R2
- 6:14 Leia and Han hug < 3 It's an amazing scene.
