Earlier this month, I wrote about the unlikely scenario where the Iowa Hawkeyes would win the NIT. After last night's all-around impressive victory over the Virginia Cavaliers in a building where Virginia had won 20 straight at home, I am eating crow. I can envision a scenario where they win the semi-final game on Tuesday, April 2, in New York City against Maryland and then move on to play in the NIT Championship game on Thursday, April 4.
